 Joe Koll’s work is primarily hand-made collage cut and pasted from mixed media, so whereby the original pieces display a satisfying 3D texture and have genuine depth to them,  once they are scanned and reduced in size for prints they take on a much more uniform and finer detailed appearance,  exuding a smoother finish.
